In light of the challenges we’re all currently facing, Zap Garage Doors want to reassure customers that we are taking COVID-19 very seriously.

COVID STATEMENT:

We are still taking orders for garage doors and our suppliers are still manufacturing requested products. Please rest assured that we are working in line with the government guidelines to ensure yours and our safety. 

If you need a garage door, we are still available to give prices and advice over the phone or online – simply contact us and we will help you in any which way we can. 

We thank our customers for their patience and understanding during these times of uncertainty.

As a result, we are now offering you a contactless service.

Our contactless services will run as follows:

  • From your initial call, please state that you wish to go contactless
  • When we’re on our way to your home, we will call you in good time so that you can unlock and open your garage door
  • Our friendly team will complete the survey at your home and we will call you when we’re done, so you can lock your garage door
  • During this call, we will also ask for your email address so that we can email the quote straight to you
  • Please revise this quote and contact us if you have any questions

Firstly we have had our electric garage doors for 9 years and they are still working brilliantly. As a result of a problem we caused we requested an engineer visit and a young guy Johnny came who was excellent. Confident, cheerful, very knowledgeable, quickly identified the issue and delivered the solution as well as further advice. I don't write many reviews but in these days of negativity particularly about young people I wanted to acknowledge how impressed I was. A credit to the company.

UPDATE: Sept 2026. The two doors have worked perfectly now for 6 years. We needed one adjusting to fit our new extension. Paul Nicholson was calm and knowledgeable in findind a very clever solution. Very professional outfit! I would highly recommend. 2020: Had two garage doors fitted recently. Very impressed with the whole journey. The surveyor Paul Nicholson was extremely knowledgeable. The fitters (Paul and Patrick) were incredibly professional and skilled. I shopped around quite a bit, and Zap garage doors were the cheapest. My mum is booked in to have her garage door sorted now. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend. Thanks

Kyle, Mitch and Danny came to fit a new front door, electrified garage doors and some replacement windows for us near Doncaster, and were really good. Friendly, professional, made sure we were happy with everything, and even went above and beyond by making a special trip to get cement and fix the holes where our old garage door posts had been after I had mentioned it to them. Great, old-fashioned customer service that you don't often get these days. Thank you.

Initial survey by Jordan and only a short wait before a professional installation by Kyle and Danny who kindly disposed of our old garage door. Very happy with this major upgrade to our property and I am happy to recommend this team from Zap Garage Doors at Doncaster.

We had our garage doors fitted to a very high standard and painted in a beautiful shade of blue, the entire team was very courteous and hard working.There was a little bit of damage to the concrete during the process but this was repaired with cement. Very happy

Finally decided our traditional ‘up and over’ door was no longer secure or weatherproof so booked Zap to replace it with an electric one. We had a socket installed and disabled the old alarm so we were good to go! The lads arrived on time ( but had to fuss the dogs first so they could get on without lots of barking) and were all done and tidied away in two hours - terrific job would definitely recommend.

Ian turned up at 10am on his own. Lovely chap, polite and courteous and happy to explain anything I I asked. He did a cracking job and was done by 12, including 2 cups of tea. The finished job is spot on. Only wish there were 6 stars.

Recently got a door installed by Zap at Doncaster, first class service from start to finish, coming to my home explaining options, fitting, after service (there was a scratch on the cover which frankly I wouldn’t have been bothered with but they weren’t happy, they took away and replaced within the week. Great company to do business with wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I used the Sheffield branch to replace an existing garage door, and was extremely satisfied by their service. Very friendly and helpful office staff, a quote considerably lower than a competitor, and efficient fitting of the new door and mechanism. It needed an adjustment shortly afterwards, which was done without question. The garage door was subsequently damaged during a break-in and the staff rapidly organised a very effective repair and reinforcement. Highly recommend.

The whole experience from the show room to the survey and installation was first class. Professional and personal in all areas with quality materials at a very reasonable price. Absolutely love the new side hinged garage door that is colour matched to our new doors and windows.

Excellent job from start to finish. Seamless communication and service throughout. Especially the fitters who installed our new roller door Jonny & Mitchell they were both courteous, professional, and friendly, demonstrating excellent attention to detail. The installation was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and they cleaned up all debris, leaving the area tidy. We would highly recommend their service and with definitely use them again.
