We had our garage doors fitted to a very high standard and painted in a beautiful shade of blue, the entire team was very courteous and hard working.There was a little bit of damage to the concrete during the process but this was repaired with cement. Very happy

Finally decided our traditional ‘up and over’ door was no longer secure or weatherproof so booked Zap to replace it with an electric one. We had a socket installed and disabled the old alarm so we were good to go!
The lads arrived on time ( but had to fuss the dogs first so they could get on without lots of barking) and were all done and tidied away in two hours - terrific job would definitely recommend.

Recently got a door installed by Zap at Doncaster, first class service from start to finish, coming to my home explaining options, fitting, after service (there was a scratch on the cover which frankly I wouldn’t have been bothered with but they weren’t happy, they took away and replaced within the week. Great company to do business with wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I used the Sheffield branch to replace an existing garage door, and was extremely satisfied by their service. Very friendly and helpful office staff, a quote considerably lower than a competitor, and efficient fitting of the new door and mechanism. It needed an adjustment shortly afterwards, which was done without question.
The garage door was subsequently damaged during a break-in and the staff rapidly organised a very effective repair and reinforcement.
Highly recommend.

Seamless communication and service throughout. Especially the fitters who installed our new roller door Jonny & Mitchell they were both courteous, professional, and friendly, demonstrating excellent attention to detail. The installation was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and they cleaned up all debris, leaving the area tidy.

We would highly recommend their service and with definitely use them again.

Very helpful people,
After fitting the side opening garage doors and frame, it exposed old paint and the original frame pointing which would have normally be covered with a finishing strip.
However I Preferred to repoint and remove the old paint from the brickwork my self. To which the fitting guys said that’s fine we will return at your convenience and finish the door frame to wall with sealer and make sure I was completely happy with their work before leaving.

Great experience from start to finish. Initially we visited the showroom where a good variety of doors were on display. We didn't have a standard door size but that wasn't a problem. When we had the quote lots of questions were asked and answered. The guys fitting the door were very professional throughout and everything was left clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this firm if anyone was looking for a new garage door. They kept in touch throughout and made a good job, the door looks great 👍.

I’ve had an insulated roller door installed for almost four years and it has been brilliant and well worth the price. Recently had some engineers John and Declan come out to fix it after I accidentally damaged it and they were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to fix the door quickly. After several really positive interactions with customer services and staff, I couldn’t recommend Zap more.

I contact Zap on a Wednesday afternoon as I needed my garage door replaced, like for like. Within 45 minutes I had Jonny arrive to quote and talk through which door would be suitable. I paid a small deposit and Saturday lunchtime Paul Whitehead arrived with the door and replaced the old one. Super quick and super tidy, he even cleaned some soil that I had spilt. All waste from the previous garage door was taken away. A few days later Hayley called to collect the outstanding balance. Great company with great service.

Great company. Really happy with all the service we received from visiting the showroom the surveyor and the installers.

We had a minor hiccup on site when they started but it was handled perfectly which is a sign of a great company and professional team. Nothing was too much for them and they listened to what we wanted and they got it spot on.

My family have used them many times and this was our first time. I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend them to anyone. Prices were reasonable too

Having purchased my garage door from Zap 2 years ago John and Declan came to service it 30.9.24. Both are very professional and helpful and thoroughly cleaned the runners, wheels and springs, checked all the screws were tight and slightly adjusted the motor to give it a smoother ride as well as refreshing my knowledge on maintenance myself. On top of this, I asked them if they could quickly pop round to my elderly neighbour who has had a very bad experience elsewhere with repairs and servicing. John and Declan popped over, confirmed it isn’t yet ready for a service and also cleaned down and lubricated the rails without charge. Superb customer service that has saved her a lot of worry due to previous problems with another door company and she will now be using Zap moving forwards. Full marks - thank you!

Pat and Tom, who installed the door, were polite and professional and answered any questions I had. They left the site clean and tidy and took away all rubbish including the old door.

I have just had an insulated roller door fitted today. The 2 guys that fitted it have done a great job. They took great care in making sure that the guide rails were sealed to the contours of our brick work.
They answered all my many questions and fully demonstrated the operation of the door making sure that it operated correctly.

Called into the showroom at Attercliffe yesterday 10am Garage fixed before 10am this morning. Extremely helpful friendly staff who explained the likely costings for the job {possible disconnected cable} either reconnect or for new if snapped which is always good to know up front. So one very happy satisfied customer who would certainly recommend and use again for any garage door purchase or repair.

From first to last this has been an excellent service and we absolutely delighted with the end result. Dean came to measure up and give us a price promptly and offered good advice on what to choose. We were very impressed with his approach and decided to go ahead without delay. Just had my new roller door fitted today by the fantastic Joan and Jonno.
I should of had the door fitted yesterday, but due to an error on my behalf, ended up leaving them high and dry.
Regardless of that. They were back within 24hrs in order to facilitate the install...

They arrived just after 9 and were done and dusted before 12.

HI there I would like to thank everyone at the company for such a great turn around, I had been looking for garage doors for my new garage build for about 3 months, getting quotes, waiting for surveyors etc, then i came across this company, from the off talking to Paul on the phone asking him questions etc he wanted to help and guided me on what I needed to do etc, he arranged a survey within in the week (others i had to wait 2-3 weeks) he came out and measured explained what was needed and how it would proceed, he didn't come across as pushy, or was in a rush to leave, I decided to go ahead with them, told me it would take about 3 weeks for the doors to be made! which was excellent considering other company's were telling me 6-8 weeks! 2 weeks in I get a phone call saying they were ready! I came to fit them the following day, the 2 lads that came (Joe and Jono) were very polite, explained what they were going to do and showed me how things worked, I felt relaxed around them and could have a conversation with them, they fitted the doors and transformed the garage, I would highly recommend this company, they make quality products to a high standard and for competitive prices, the team is very helpful, they don't give you the can't be arsed attitude which I got off other well known company's (cough cough garage door company) I will be using them in the future if I have other projects. When we needed a new garage door Zap were the only ones to actualky come out to measure up for a quote. All the rest used pictures I sent and measurements. We're glad he did as he spotted a problem with the frame that would need it strengthening. Fitters arrived on time and made putting the new door in effortless. All the time social distancing and doing a very clean and tidy job. All stuff was cleaned away & old garage door taken too. The new door looks great and is so much better. Considering the cost of everything we're more than happy to recommend Zap. Thanks to all the team.

I would concure with the review from Sharon Dyson. Zap from Wakefield were excellent from start to finish. We initially visited the Zap showroom and there was met by Christine, who was very helpful and professional. Christine showed us various doors, explained how they worked, an idea about pricing, she was a pleasure to speak with and an excellent representative for the company. Philip the salesman came to the house and gave us a good competitive quote for 2 composite doors and a garage door with electric motor. There was no hard sell, the conversation was relaxed, but professional, and we decided we would book for the work to be done. The work team arrived on time and completed the work to a very good standard. They were friendly, tidy and professional. I have just had to call Zap back after couple of months due to the back door sticking when closing it. Christine again was superb arranging for someone to come out in about a week to sort it out. Thank you.

I’d like to share my opinion on Zap Garage Doors Wakefield it’s not a normal thing for me but when a company as gone that extra mile to help me and my husband to make a decision on a garage door which makes a massive improvement to the front of our house I think it’s only right to say so

I will be honest I looked at the reviews before hand and a little doubtful but we had be recommended to this firm and I’m so glad I used them there salesman which I think is called Phil was brilliant no hard sales at all just a genuine guy and so bubbly we was so happy to let Zap do our Garage door and the service didn’t just stop there we was informed when the door would be fitted

On the day of fitting two gentlemen came and introduced themselves and just got on with the job I kept them full with tea/coffee oh and biscuits and when they was done the gentlemen went through how the door worked and made sure I was happy with everything which I was over the moon what a difference loved it

So I would definitely recommend and will be recommending them
